Gaps and Glances: Sir Gawain and the Green Knight

  • Penryn, England United Kingdom (map)

Gaps and Glances: Sir Gawain & the Green Knight is a storytelling journey through the bogs and brambles of transition and change. Bring your wellies and come seek the mythical third way, re–open to nuance and complexity, and allow the binary to soften.

Storyteller and facilitator Will Wilson and writer, artist and facilitator Sophie Craven will guide you through the troublesome tale of Sir Gawain in order to provide a space for feeling into transition over the course of two months. Based primarily in Penryn Woods, Cornwall, we will draw the story into our locality and bodies, using it as an anchor to find our place in both a greater myth and our personal stories.

Take your place at Arthur’s court, chop off the Green Knight’s head and enter the wilderness. This journey will be wiggly, strange and pickled. We promise to return you back to the court – but what will have changed along the way, and who will you be upon your return?

This immersive journey takes place over 4 Saturday afternoons, each building on the last. We welcome participants willing and able to commit to the full journey.
